creative partnerships are powerful.
Throughout my career, I’ve found wellsprings of creative
inspiration in working with inspired individuals. There’s
something truly magical about great creative partnerships.
Somehow, we are better when we work together. The right
creative partners can bring out the best in us. They can
raise our creative spirits and multiply our impact.
While some people argue against mixing business and
friendships, at Mediaworks friendship has been the
foundation for the creative partnerships we have enjoyed
over the years. The late Jim Henson, creator of the
Muppets, was a strong proponent of working with friends.
“When you work with your friends,” said Henson, “it doesn’t
feel like work at all. It feels like fun. I like to work
with people I know and trust. With them, the ideas come
naturally.”
Although each Mediaworks’ associate is an independent
business entity, we all share an extraordinary singular
focus…a driving force…a deep and abiding passion for the
work we do. This does not mean that we approach
problem-solving the same way. In fact, we are more
different than we are similar. Each associate brings unique
skills to the table and displays very divergent thinking
and personalities. We bring our unique characteristics to
the creative table and offer ideas that add value to each
others’ contributions.
However, our success rises not from the simple sum of our
associate’s individual talents, but from the interplay
between us and
each of
our clients’ unique personalities, creative sensibilities,
and business styles. We enjoy becoming a part of our
customers’ companies, understanding their needs, and
helping them reach their goals – for us, this is what makes
work fun.
